In December 2000, Maverick Commercial Real Estate, L.P. was formed in order to focus its efforts on servicing owners' needs in the marketplace. One of the key executives, who previously held a managing director position and was responsible for the North Dallas Division for the Bradford Companies, decided to establish Maverick Commercial Real Estate.

Maverick Commercial Real Estate exclusively leases and manages over two million (2,000,000) square feet of retail, office, technology, and warehouse space in the Dallas Metroplex area. For more than the past twenty (20) years, our marketing team has negotiated more than nine million (9,000,000) square feet of commercial transactions with over one thousand one hundred (1,100) separate transactions.
Our current client base includes one thousand two hundred fifty (1,250) tenants in the Dallas area alone, of which over seventy (70) are Fortune 100 Companies.
Mark E. Aston
Mr. Aston formed Maverick Commercial Real Estate in December of 2000 to specialize in commercial real estate in the North Dallas market. Currently, Maverick has four (4) employees and is responsible for the marketing of thirty-seven (37) properties totaling in excess of two million (2,000,000) square feet.
Mr. Aston was formerly a senior vice president and managing director in charge of Bradford's North Dallas office and responsible for sales, leasing and development of office, office/technology and industrial space in the North Dallas area. He was awarded top producer for the company every year since 1991.
During the course of his career, he has leased and sold over seven million five hundred thousand (7,500,000) square feet of commercial property in seven hundred fifty (750) transactions for more than two hundred ten million ($210,000,000) in sales and lease volume. In addition, he was awarded in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2004 by the Heavy Hitters, which is given by the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors in conjunction with The Dallas Business Journal.
Mr. Aston holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, which is considered the highest professional designation to obtain in the commercial real estate industry. He has been an active member for the past sixteen (16) years in the Texas Real Estate Commission and holds a brokers license. He is an active member of the Richardson and Plano Chambers of Commerce, National Association of Realtors, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), and a member of the local CCIM Chapter.
Mark Aston graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986 with a BBA in Accounting. He spent three (3) years in Big Eight Public Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). While working at Ernst and Whinney and later Price Waterhouse, he specialized in financial institutions and real estate audits.
Michael Fay has nineteen (19) years of experience in all phases of commercial real estate sales, leasing and consulting. During his career, he has been involved in more than two hundred fifty (250) transactions totaling more than four million (4,000,000) square feet, in excess of fifty million ($50,000,000) dollars. He focuses his efforts representing property owners as well as seeking out new general real estate brokerage/project assignments.
Mr. Fay has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He also holds a Real Estate Brokers License in the State of Texas and Kansas. Mr. Fay is an active member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.
Prior to joining Maverick Commercial, Mr. Fay was a marketing representative for Bradford Companies for the past six (6) years. Prior to Bradford, he was an area sales manager for Catellus Management Corporation, a division of Catellus Development Corporation, one of the country's largest publicly held real estate companies.
Bradley H. Lipton
Brad Lipton has over seven (7) years of experience and his responsibilities include marketing and leasing of approximately forty-five (45) projects in DFW for more than three million (3,000,000) square feet in addition to tenant representation.
Mr. Lipton is also responsible for all marketing information including creating over thirty (30) brochures, revising the company mission statement, updating the marketing packets for clients and building owners, updating the internal and external company inventory, updating inventory through NTCAR and CoStar on a monthly basis, and updating the company’s website.
Prior to joining Maverick Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Lipton was assistant manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and was heavy hitter for seventeen (17) out of twenty-two (22) months with the company.
Mr. Lipton has a bachelor of business from Texas Tech University. He also holds a real estate license in the State of Texas and received his CCIM designation in 2012. Mr. Lipton is actively involved in the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. He has been a tri-chair on the Richardson Chamber Signature Luncheon Committee for the past three (3) years and has held lead chair for 2011 and 2012. Recent Chamber programs included Dr. Daniels - UTD President, Dan Branch - Speaker of the House, Charlotte Jones Anderson of the Salvation Army and Dallas Cowboys, and Dan Garton - CEO of American Eagle Airlines. Mr. Lipton was also elected on the Chamber’s Advisory Board for 2012 and 2013 and was recently elected to the Chamber's Board for 2013-2014.
